How to Get to Flodigarry

By road

The Skye Bridge is now toll free but some travellers prefer still to travel to Skye ‘over the sea’ ~ by ferry which is still possible in the summer months via Mallaig or Glenelg. The last miles to the hotel is a single roads, but easy to drive.

After the sign to the village Flodigarry, please stay on the main road for another 200 meters and then you will see the sign to the hotel.

By air

Inverness is the nearest airport to us on Skye, about three hours drive away by hire car, alternatively you can travel from here to Portree by Coach.

Easyjet now operate services from London Luton, Gatwick and Bristol to Inverness

British Airways operate a service from London Gatwick to Inverness

Flybe operate services from most UK
regional airports.

By train

Nearest station is Kyle of Lochalsh – Trains run from here to Inverness where they connect to all other parts of the Scotland and the UK.

Trains also run to Mallaig (including the
Jacobite Steam Train). From Mallaig Calmac run a summer ferry connection to Armadale (Skye). From Armadale a connecting bus service on Skye is run by Stagecoach.

By coach and bus

Scottish Citylink operate a service to Portree from Glasgow or Inverness. You can travel to both these destinations by air or train or for Coach connections to other parts of the UK try National Express.

Alternatively the Stagecoach ‘Flodigarry Circular’ bus service takes passengers from Portree to ‘Flodigarry Hotel Road End’
